Why Go? Just Gopher It
- snippet22 10y agoI think one of the biggest misconceptions I see about GoLang is that there are a million threads in ycombinator and reddit, repeatedly saying it built on top of C or C++. It simply isn't. It takes ideas from it sure, but it is not built on top of it like others (php, js, ruby, ect...) So stop comparing it to C or C++.
