I don't get this argument. People want to fuck and reproduce, and the next generation will contain the genes of precisely the people who most want to, and so on. Something needs to check this other than wishful thinking.
- dmoy 10y agoThe argument is that richer people reproduce less, because you don't need to in order to guarantee reproductive success.
- pilom 10y agoThere is a ton of evidence that as extremely poor people get richer they have less kids. People who earn less than $1 per day have more than 5 times as many children on average as people in first world countries
