This version has been out in the US for over a month now, I bought it directly from Dell in October. I have the non-developer editoin and installed Arch Linux on it as my primary OS. It did not require any hacks and the process is well-documented on the Arch Wiki. If you qualify for Dell EPP, you can get a non-developer edition with the same specs as the developer edition and a Windows license for the same price.

Not quite the same specs, the wireless card is different.

  That was the case with the last (9350) model, but now both have the same "Killer 1535 802.11ac 2x2 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1."
