- nzmsv 17y agoPlease note that this is a voluntary recall notice; you may choose to not have your car serviced and retain your stereo. However, in this case you will be unable to use any new roads or use the car to visit your friends.

- sophacles 17y agoAlso, if your car isn't serviced, in the event of a crash you die due to airbag failure.
- chrischen 17y agoThe OtherOS is not nearly as useful to PS3 owners as a trunk is to a car owner.
- dmm 17y agoPeople who express strong opinions about things they don't understand aren't useful to anyone. OtherOS has many uses. Even excluding ps3 clusters for scientific research, several ps3 developers I know use their ps3s at home to try out code quickly. The linux environment is more convenient at times than even the official dev kit.
- chrischen 17y agoWhat percentage of users do you suppose that is? PS3s used for scientific research don't have to upgrade, unless they're also secretly using them to play new games.
