I have trouble understanding this valuation considering that it just doesn't seem like a terribly difficult market to jump into. They aren't first to the table. Is there something that's protecting their market position/ensuring that it will get better?
- exolymph 10y agoWhether the market is easy to jump into doesn't matter. Ecommerce is easy to jump into, but you don't see anyone threatening Amazon's position, right? It's all about your ability to execute competitively. Also, payments in particular is a regulation-heavy industry and PCI compliance is a headache all on its own.
