Definitely try Notepad++ as a replacement for notepad.exe. It will even autosave your unsaved notes. And it has tabs.

- drakonka 10y agoI actually have Notepad++ installed and for some reason just keep opening up Notepad instead. Old habits die hard! I have now pinned it to my taskbar and will try to force myself to use it instead.
- wingerlang 10y agoMaybe you can replace the shortcut[s] for notebad with notepad++, maybe the .exe file itself even.
