How would you feel if all of your comments on hacker news were edited to say the opposite of what you mean, or were phrased in such a way as to discredit everything you are trying to say?
And not just on hacker news. What if the same thing happened on twitter or facebook?
- jpgvm 10y agoIt would be unfortunate, but if I was trolling and got trolled back at that point it's just a taste of my own medicine. People can say what they want about having access controls in place to prevent this but at the end of the day there is a DBA with super user access to the database, there always is. If you can't hack that messages on these platforms don't carry any integrity then maybe you shouldn't use them.
