How do we get this for California? Is the Freelance job litigated on where the Freelancer is physically located, or where the client is located?
- patio11 10y agoIt's where the tort giving rise to the suit happened, a question which is complicated and lawyer-worthy if this ever comes up. Most MSAs will have both parties stipulate to the jurisdiction of a particular county's courts; generally, the party supplying the MSA picks their local court system because it's cheaper to access, known to them, and has the home-field advantage.
