- maxharris 16y agoDid BlackBerry start putting those messages in first, before Apple did the iPhone?
- macrael 16y agoYes.
- truebosko 16y agoArticle from Jan 2007 telling you how to remove that message from Blackberry's: http://www.bbhub.com/2007/01/02/how-to-banish-your-sent-from-my-blackberry-wireless-handheld-t/ http://www.bbhub.com/2007/01/02/how-to-banish-your-sent-from... iPhone came out in June 2007 so .. looks like BB's did it first.
- sankara 16y agoMy SE K790 had a "Sent using a Sony Ericsson Phone" message as early as Sep 2006!

- hernan7 16y agoLots of "sent from my Blackberry" footers in the Enron email corpus (ca 2000-2001)
- johns 16y agoOr why it has so many typos.
- danudey 16y agoiPhone users rarely send e-mail with typos; instead, they send e-mail with (at best) nonsensical words or phrases in place of what they meant, or (at worst) entirely sensical phrases that had nothing to do with what they meant ('how big is that disk you got last night' -> 'how big is that dick you got last night'). As an iPhone owner, I've learned to double-check everything I type.
- dnsworks 16y agoI view it as some yuppy jackass being able to prove he overpaid for a phone that doesn't actually make phone calls.
