Yeah, I got it done a couple of years ago. I splurged and spent 7200 on possibly the most reputable place in the area, and they took great care of me. The best advantages for me is that I can just wake up and go, and I can buy sunglasses/safety glasses easily, without spending lots of money on custom lenses. Plus when I wake up, I can just look around and figure out what time it is. I don't really see downsides here, I'm sure that other people have worse experiences, but my experience has been a) don't skimp and b) be happy.
