I would actually be in favour of banning Fifty Shades. It was awful. The only good thing about it were some of the reviews that went to town on it :)

- stratosphere 10y agoI'm for banning whatever you like then.
- EliRivers 10y agoFittingly, your inability to partake in conversations beyond the strictly literal, combined with your kneejerk Daily Mail style reactions, renders you exactly the target audience for "literature" on the level of Fifty Shades.
- jambox888 10y agoIt actually works as comedy! Try reading it out loud at dinner parties.
- JoeAltmaier 10y agoAgreed. Listening to movies without watching is generally enlightening. I drove Scouts in a van with a TV for the passengers, for years. I heard lots of movies without seeing them. So many are crap. The only one I remember that held up was Liar! Liar! surprisingly. Intelligent dialog; engaging and well-written.
- jambox888 10y agoWe've been bingeing on Archer recently - that would work really well as a radio show. In fact I suspect that's how they make it, someone just does the art later.
- JoeAltmaier 10y agoArcher is smart and creative. Every line is fresh. My favorite by far.
