This is pretty weird. I'd heard about the 7 points claim (and debunkings based on the fact that the effect disappears after controlling for education/race/density) around a week ago. But Alex Halderman genuinely is one of the world's leading experts on voting security. He's also a brilliant, careful researcher. I have to wonder if there is additional evidence that isn't mentioned in the article?
