I purchased an Ubiquiti router and AP. While I'm happy about it I would never recommend it to people that doesn't know networking. Some stuff was confusing/hard even for me that once upon a time took a CCNA certification. But it works great, never had any downtime with it and the speed is good. I have two networks and you can really get down to the nitty and gritty with it. But if you want an easy configuration with easy to use QoS controls and so on, Ubiquiti is not for you.
