When Waze alerts me about roadkill I'm usually annoyed, because I only want to be alerted about actual obstructions in the road, but that's because it's trivial to veer within my lane to avoid a small critter. There are many possible solutions to make people slow down (enforcement, speed limiters) but intentionally decreasing safety should not be one of them.
