Is there another source for the 220Mbit/s limit for m4 class instances? I was under the impression that you could get enhanced networking with those, and double the speed when paired with placement groups.
- user5994461 10y agoThe 220Mbits/s is for the m4.large instance, not all the m4 family. The bigger instances get more. It is with HVM and enhanced networking. You can "wget http://ipv4.download.thinkbroadband.com/100MB.zip" http://ipv4.download.thinkbroadband.com/100MB.zip" and see what speed you get.
- ranman 10y agoThe 220mbps limit is entirely false. Between two m4.large in two different AZs. Test Complete.
