I was really excited when I read that article a few weeks ago because I'd like to find more people working on this. What I'm working on only just started taking shape a couple weeks ago, so all I have are some pages in a notebook. I've been laying out observations & hypotheses. Over the last few days, I've started looking into the structures of scientific theories and will be typing up my notes starting today.
