If something doesn't exist and the NYT tells you it does, doesn't that make NYT a fake news outlet as well? I'm talking about the WMDs in Iraq

  Exactly, NYT is full of fake news. Even the NYT themselves are saying that they will "rededicate themselves to honest coverage". Nobody says that unless they are implying they were previously not pursuing honest coverage.
