- Dangeranger 10y agoThe list is missing http://use-the-index-luke.com http://use-the-index-luke.com and http://modern-sql.com http://modern-sql.com which are some of the very best resources out there for SQL in general. It also misses https://www.pgexercises.com https://www.pgexercises.com which is an amazing resource for learning the specifics of PostgreSQL in particular.
- makmanalp 10y agoAnother vote from me for Markus Winand's guides (first two). They are the first place I point people who have the basics down. There are great and amazingly simple discussions about the tradeoffs and design decisions that need to be considered when designing and optimizing a schema, with practical advice and information.
- senthil_rajasek 10y agoI scrolled through the page. This is clickbait to show ads and not a well thought out collection to learn SQL.
- willis77 10y ago49 books/tutorials/MOOCs in, I was lost. Would I ever learn SQL? Why is learning so easy but finding "top 100" awesome-lists on a topic so hard?! Then, finally, praise Knuth, I found this list with 50 SQL resources. I can finally get started learning the way everyone wants to get started, namely, inundated with an overwhelming number of halfheartedly scraped resources.
