Why wouldn't they just use Google Droid? Strange.
- dublinben 10y agoFrom the comments here so far, it seems really important that they could be under the same permissive license as the rest of the project.
- tapan_k 10y agoAnother reason to not just use Google fonts is to make sure they do not - even if unwittingly - give an impression that the Go language is controlled by Google. This is an open source initiative (at least in spirit) and needs to make choices akin to its roots.
