In case anyone ever reads that, too late for me to edit but: file 2&>1 | mail -S ...should be: file 2&>1 || mail -S ...or more likely the wrapped "if" mentioned

In case anyone ever reads that, too late for me to edit but:
file 2&>1 | mail -S
...should be:
file 2&>1 || mail -S
...or more likely the wrapped "if" mentioned.
