Wow that's huge. My last VS2015 install took hours.
- dleslie 10y agoI usually do it at the end of the day, and leave it running when I end work.
- justin66 10y agoNot even an option in the Windows 10 era, where our computers might reboot at any time on short notice. (work computers with group policy tweaks are something of an exception, but still)
- satysin 10y agoIndeed. Plus I really like that I can install just the C++ tools and not all the .NET languages as well as I don't need or want those! The overall IDE speed is greatly improved as well. Looks like a good update so I am looking forward to the final soon.
