I saw the headline and went to Gruber's site curious how he will vindicate for Apple. He argues that it might be intended as learning material for design students or as a collectible art piece. I think that's fair enough, even though it doesn't convince me entirely. I see the release of the book and the pricing decision in context of Apple's latest product and pricing decisions and it reinforces my sentiment that Apple is becoming more of a luxury than a quality brand.
