I'm not sure if the Portuguese->English translation just isn't as good as English->German, but it's certainly nowhere close to a fluent manual translation. In fact, the main difference seems to be less tripping up on mostly inconsequential small pieces of English grammar. It seems to have the same trouble as the old version in translating the meaning of sentences.
