The US Presidential Election Campaign Fund provides monies for parties that reach 5% of the vote. How will votes in Maine be handled going forward? Does it mean that candidates who are eliminated in the first pass of counting officially receive zero votes? Seems like it should be something like that.
- lambertsimnel 10y agoI don't know, but I think it would make more sense for candidates that receive 5% of first preferences to receive those monies.
