Space pens will accomplish that, last time I used mine, but their ink doesn't flow as well as pretty much every other type of pen I've ever used, which is a inherent trade-off. You could also keep a cleaned fountain pen in that drawer along with a bottle or cartridges of ink.... (For decades I've used them as my "best pen", but only infrequently when I have a lot of handwriting to do, which is seldom the case.)
