- zokier 10y agoThere are several ports of OpenSSH for Windows if you prefer that.
- justincormack 10y agoMicrosoft is porting it officially too now.
- KirinDave 10y agoMaybe that was true 2 years ago. Now Microsoft is maintaining OpenSSH for powershell and there is Bash for Windows providing direct linux binary support.
- voltagex_ 10y agoI'd wait til ssh.exe is a little more stable: https://github.com/PowerShell/Win32-OpenSSH/issues https://github.com/PowerShell/Win32-OpenSSH/issues I'm just about sick of PuTTY, though, ready to just drop a copy of MSYS2's ssh.exe in my DropBox\bin folder and leave it at that.
- KirinDave 10y agoI use the bash subsystem now, but yeah I used ssh.exe for some time w/out issue as well.
- yborg 10y agoI suppose that makes it the best by default.
