- pimlottc 10y agoThat starting fee is called flagfall and you have to pay it with Uber as well. But that's somewhat irrelevant for short trips, as Uber has also has a set minimum fare. I don't know where you're located but it's typically more than 3 euros: New York: US$8 Paris: €5 London: £5
