I am an information addict as well. I get annoyed, when I've already browsed through the HN frontpage and nothing new turns up upon refresh. At those times I wonder if the amount of really interesting, insightful and fresh(!) material produced on the web is still quite limited or if we aren't doing a good enough job of surfacing it according to everyones individual taste.
