The anti-war voices of both the Right and the Left have been marginalized by the Center for a very long time. Do you really believe that Mrs. Clinton is anti-war? Or even Mr. Obama (Nobel Peace Prize notwithstanding)? You are correct, however, that middle America tends to be more honest about their perspectives on aggressive US foreign policy. Many liberals would say "yes, the US should get out of the Middle East" but then they pull the lever for a rather hawkish presidential candidate.
