I hate how intrusive the Windows Defender is, it automatically deleted some executables of mine I know to be clean (false positives). Just disable that beast entirely, seriously (group policy or regedit). Makes your PC much snappier. Defender is my biggest gripe with Windows 10. Having anti-viruses installed is for fools. I just upload every single executable to VirusTotal.com and make sure I know the source I downloaded it from - this is far superior to any anti-virus and doesn't slow down your PC. I said this when Windows 10 was new and I got tons of downvotes. I say it again because it still holds true and needs to be said.
