I don't think the "bias" of mainstream media sources is solvable, it's not that problem we need to solve. The problem we need to solve is the sharing of hysterical, blatantly false information, presented as facts, from specific, intentionally propagandistic sites. And I wouldn't hide or disallow it, I would flag it with a warning message.
