The only reason I can think of, is you can use a USB-C-to-Lightning cable and use it as a fast charger for iPad Pro.

- dogma1138 10y agoEh? They can put the intended cable in the box, any other use you want to get out of it - bring your own cable. This is selling a device that is not fit for purpose especially since apple says to use their chargers and cables only.
- nicky0 10y agoThat's like saying they shouldn't sell cables on their own because they don't come with anything to plug them into.
