They can't really check that they're not Russian if they don't know who they are. I'm not saying it's relevant for the content of the e-mails, but it's relevant to judge what WikiLeaks' agenda really is. But you know, what I take from this is that WikiLeaks is just another publisher. Like any publisher you can't take what they say mindlessly. This means that, so what if WikiLeaks just publishes according to their own interests? You should remind yourself of that. It doesn't detract from the fact that the things they're publishing are true and relevant.
