If we are serious about climate change, shouldn't we be thinking long and hard about flying anywhere for a vacation? Maybe take a ferry/cruise to the Bahamas or some other Caribbean island?

- shoo 10y agoTaking one long international return flight per year accounts for about 15% of an estimated UK person's annual energy usage: [1][2] . So that's indeed a pretty big impact to the environment. If we're serious about climate change we need to regulate the economy so that the price of externalities from CO2 emissions is priced into those activities that generate CO2 pollution.
