Yeah, I can't think of many places with steeper hurdles to citizenship, although Japan laps them in that race.

Yeah, I can't think of many places with steeper hurdles to citizenship, although Japan laps them in that race.
- spiderfarmer 10y agoOnly if you speak German and are able to deal with their not very welcoming nature, you might stand a chance. I know a couple of expats who had everything in their favor (language, skills, local connections) and after 5-10 years still decided to move to Austria and Germany.
