I have been thinking about this exact thing a lot lately. Luck + [hard work|skills|knowledge] You could be lucky and then not know what you are doing and fail. You can know a ton and just not be in the right place. It is that magic elusive combo. I tell my kids you can only control one side of that equation. Learn as much as you can.
