I don't know why an informational site thinks it needs to have notifications anyway. I want notifications from things like Calendars and the like.
- invalidname 10y agoThis is used to send updates on new important blog posts. You can subscribe/unsubcribe anytime.
- bdavisx 10y agoEmail or RSS would be better for that IMO -- I don't need my browser interrupting my flow for something like a blog post.
- invalidname 10y agoI agree and I personally subscribe via RSS and disabled push. The thing is that one size doesn't fit all (even with developers) and this is an option that's only intrusive once if you don't want it you can always turn it off (as I have). The numbers are pretty clear about the value of website push and chat support otherwise both wouldn't be there...
