I had a few Powerbooks in the 90's. I can't remember which one it was (I think it was a Pismo) but I was working on the couch one day with the laptop on a small stool in front of me. Someone knocked on the door and I got up, catching the power cord on my leg. The stool fell over and the screen shattered. Magsafe is definitely a great feature on my MBPro 2012
