I am comfortable in 3 languages ( English / Indian Language / Kswahili ). The interesting theme was the seeds for these languages was laid @ < 3 grade . I still speak all the 3 languages in a good order of comfort. I did try and learn french in high school and it turned out to be a waste of my time. My learning of languages is influenced by 2 themes 1. I learn t each of these 3 languages in environments where they were used extensively practically. 2. I learn t them young The reason i failed in my efforts of french : were precisely the opposite of the 2 points above.
