Can we just go ahead and replace the name "Open Source" with "Citizen Owned", while keeping the concepts identical?

  How are they the same? You can have open source software that is completely controlled by a private entity. There are many different open source licenses.

    corporations are not persons anymore? citizens aren't private entities anymore?
