Is there a need for IoT devices to serve HTTPS?
- danblick 10y agoI'm curious how well that would work? I think it would be awkward to deploy a secret key to a (difficult-to-configure) home device and then keep that secret key secure. It worries me that your IoT device might claim to use HTTPS but actually depend on a private key that had been compromised.
