It's not a native solution, but apparently the extension uBlock Origin has a setting to block web fonts (people have mentioned it in this thread).
I use uBlock Origin as my adblocker, and it is a much better experience in terms of performance and usability than AdBlock ever was - so I wouldn't be surprised if the font option was equally well implemented. On mobile currently, but will try it out when I get to my computer.
As for toggling, there is a nice simple button that enables/disables the adblocking on the active site. I'm hoping it affects the font setting too.
PS: that's uBlock Origin, not just uBlock.
