- smsm42 10y agoIt's almost always a factor in such trials, AFAIK. Since it's live people that have their own lives and bodies, it could be that it happened for unrelated reasons. However, there are standards of risk and I guess "possibly makes males permanently infertile" was not an acceptable risk.
