The New Iphone 7 with iP67 water-resistance rating will negatively affect GoPro sales. People will likely bring their iPhone to the beach/lake if they trust it doesn't get damaged by an accidental water splash.
- brandon272 10y agoWater resistance seems like only one of many advantages a GoPro has. I would never consider doing with what my phone what I've seen many people do when they are tossing around a GoPro.
- proee 10y agoThis it true for extreme situations, but I do believe with the new iPhone, people we be less likely to use a GoPro, if even just 10-20% less it does affect the bottom line.
