Shouldn't that be 'What is your yearly _energy_ usage?' ?
Or alternatively: 'What is you average power comsumption?'
2500 kWh/year = 6.85 kWh/day = 285 W, which sounds pretty reasonable
For comparison, an average male requires 8700 kJ/day = 100 W
40 kWh/day for a four bedroom house = 1.67 kW, which is huge.
Maybe it includes charging a couple of Tesla cars as well.
