I'll resist responding with the typical "drinking male tears" snark that usually comes in response to these stories, as that attitude is what perpetuates these feelings in the first place.
HOWEVER, before we ask people if they feel they are discriminated against, perhaps we should define what discrimination is. For instance:
* Being forced to not refuse business to gay people: NOT DISCRIMINATION
* Being asked not to make sexist jokes at work after complaints from your female coworkers: NOT DISCRIMINATION
* Being asked to use people's preferred gender pronouns: NOT DISCRIMINATION.
* Being confronted with gender and racial privileges that should be basic human rights, but that other genders and racial minorities do not get to enjoy: NOT DISCRIMINATION.
I'm sympathetic that the last decade has not been a steady march towards a brighter future for many Americans. Globalization is leaving a generation of poor and middle class small-town Americans with seemingly no hope for prosperity. And I understand why people in such positions are drawn to a candidate like Donald Trump. Their plight won't be solved by either candidate, though, and that's sad. They have some legitimate concerns, and their anger will only grow.
But they are not "discriminated" against.
