Yeah because his tech probably can't do 1/5 of what hes claimed it can and the NHSTA would've found that out almost immediately. this all a pr move by andreeseen/horowitz to pump all their holdings in companies doing selfdriving tech. they prolly knew he'd never succeed. jus odd to throw in the towel after the gov comes knockin esp after a $3 mil investment like these investors are smart are we honestly supposed to believe they didn't know this was going to happen eh or maybe $3mil ain't nothing and they's jus threw it at him because jus maybe he could do it if not it's a win win probably both.
