Just get a Razer Blade. It's the same weight and form factor as a MBP, but black and with a real GPU.
Run Windows 10 if you just want to get work done, or Debian or something if you need metal Linux (as opposed to VMs)
- hxegon 10y agoAlso take a look at the razor blade stealth for something cheaper, if you don't need a dedicated graphics card. (although you can hook up a razer core if you need one)
- sliken 10y agoUgh, wish they did the same thing as apple. Use the previous generation skylake with a decent GPU. qhd (let along 4k) is quite a few pixels for such a weak GPU.
- lifeformed 10y agoI agree, I use one for game dev and it works great. The build quality is top notch, and the new ones have amazing specs.
