"In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails" - Sounds very happenstance. What are the odds something coincidental happened two weeks before the election?
- pwg 10y agoWhat is the probability that "an unrelated case" is political speak for "wikileaks"?
- nitrogen 10y agoGiven the sheer number of cases and the government's prior willingness to name and shame Wikileaks, I'd expect that probability to be low without further evidence (high uncertainty remains).
- mordocai 10y agoWould the FBI want to admit to the committee that wikileaks had data they didn't unless they had to though?
- maxerickson 10y agoPete Williams, NBC's reporter that has sources at the Department of Justice, is reporting that it isn't about wikileaks or emails that Clinton sent. http://www.vox.com/2016/10/28/13458382/fbi-hillary-clinton http://www.vox.com/2016/10/28/13458382/fbi-hillary-clinton

- insickness 10y agoAssange has been releasing thousands of Podesta's emails in dribs and drabs every day. The Justice Department just released a lot of new information as well.
