If you want to spend a similar amount of money, get the Asus UX390UA (Zenbook 3). 1) It's lighter 2) It's got better components in every single aspect -> CPU, GPU, SSD size, Screen, keyboard, etc., etc.... 3) It's actually cheaper STILL If you want to spend less, but now around the same performance of a MBP, maybe get the Asus UX330. It's basically a toned-down UX390, but still awesome. If you want a cheaper STILL, consider a Clevo reseller like PCSpecialist (UK), Scan (Everywhere?), Sager (US), XMG (Europe). They are the ultimate in performance per cost, it's just that they tend to not be the most asthetically pleasing.
